Criminal Minds

   Criminal Minds is an extremely popular police procedural. Like other shows in the genre each episode contains a self contained story while also continuing a longer story. In the past most people like myself have watched episodes on television sporadically, but Netflix allows us too enjoy seasons worth of plot and character development. I think character development is what makes Criminal Minds stand apart from other police procedural's. Anyways - Enjoy the show and happy Netflixing!

   My favorite Netflix TV shows are listed below. All of these shows are fairly popular and well known. Flash and Arrow definitely appeal to a particular group. Dexter can be slightly... bloody at times. However, I think anyone could enjoy a few episodes of Young & Hungry or House MD.

Arrow

   Arrow is a pretty typical superhero series. If you enjoy the genre I would recommend Arrow. The storyline is great. Character development is slightly lacking but not terrible. Without spoiling much, Oliver Queen, a rich CEO's son, is stranded on an almost deserted island for an extremely long time. While on the island he becomes a master with a bow and arrow, hence the name. When he finally gets back to his hometown of Starling City he has one mission. Defeat the villains who have ruined his city. Eventually he acquires a team including a technical wiz, tactical support, and a little extra muscle. Hope you enjoy the show & happy Netflixing!

House MD

   House MD is a great spin on the medical drama genre. Gregory House is a cranky diagnostician with a bum leg. Most times you will find him holed up in his office high on Vicodin. Moreover, House is always getting into trouble at the hospital; he is constantly wreaking havoc on professional and personal relationships. Enough about our main character, House is full of plenty of great characters. Lisa Cuddy is House's slightly flirtatious (at least House flirts with her) boss. House also has lots of interesting fellows including a British blonde guy named Chase, and a young woman with an interesting story who is referred to as "Thirteen." Happy Netflixing!
